The Ankh, also known as the breath of life, key of the Nile and crux ansata (Latin meaning ‘cross with handle’) was the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol that read as ‘Life’. It represents the concept of eternal life, which is the general meaning of the symbol.
